Keith Miller
is an American Fingerstyle Guitarist born in Greenville, SC. His style
crosses several genres from pop, to classical, sacred to easy listening.
Among the highlights of his career to date are opening for virtuoso
guitarist, Doyle Dykes, and recording with legendary guitarist and
Christian contemporary pioneer, Phil Keaggy. His recording projects to
date include:
March, 2010: Keith released his second instrumental CD project,
"Be Thou My Vision." The CD was recorded and produced by seasoned
session bassist and President of the Nashville Musician’s Union,
Dave Pomeroy, at his studio in Nashville, TN. Be Thou My Vision
features ten timeless hymns and classical arrangements that typify
the soft and persuasive voice of acoustic guitar. Keith gets a
measure of world class help with the project as Dave Pomeroy
provides bass accompaniment on two of the tracks, and the title
track features fiddle by Andy Leftwich, the mandolin/fiddle player
for Ricky Skaggs’ all-star band, Kentucky Thunder. From the opening
track, Praise to the Lord, The Almighty, through the CD’s
completion, the listener is taken to a thoughtful and peace-filled
place. Simply put, Be Thou My Vision delivers soothing music
overflowing with meaning and heart.
December, 2011: Keith was a featured artist on a compilation
album benefitting the medical needs of fellow artist, Pete
Huttlinger. The album featured Keith along with Don Alder, Michael
Chapdelaine, Sungha Jung, Phil Keaggy, Muriel Anderson, Jack
Pearson, Antoine Dufour, Don Ross, Al Petteway, Gareth Pearson, Carl
Verheyen and more.
August 2014: Keith produced, and performed on this
compilation album supporting Autism Speaks, entitled "where Words
Fail, Music Speaks." The compilation includes tracks from Keith's
son, Nathan Miller, who performed a solo ukulele tune, and did a
duet with Grammy Award winning musician, John Knowles C.G.P. John
Knowles also provided a solo piece, as did Doyle Dykes, 7 time DGMA
