The Black Tie Swing Band
The Black Tie Swing Band is designed to provide a reminder of the Big Band Era, with a smaller instrumental group well suited for private parties, wedding receptions and other gala occasions.
Three horns (trumpet, trombone, sax) and a four piece rhythm section provide a music that is suitable for background ambiance during cocktails and dining, then can open up for traditional ballroom dancing—ballads, foxtrots, waltzes, Latin tunes and our trademark music from the Swing era.
A jazz vocalist may be added for additional color and show. The musicians all have big band training and experience, bringing an authenticity to the music and playing it with verve and excitement.
We’ll make you smile and want to dance again. Our repertoire is extensive, and can be expanded for specific requests.
