Ms. Tovey’s professional work in Charleston area began in 1985 and includes hotels, clubs, and restaurants, some of which are: Beaumont’s Restaurant, Carolina Yacht Club, Charleston Country Club, East Bay Trading Company, Harbor Club, Hilton Hotel, Holiday Inn –Riverview, Island House at Seabrook Island, Mills House Hotel, River Course at Kiawah Island, The Sanctuary Hotel at Kiawah Island, Woodlands Resort, Yeamans Hall Club.
Ms. Tovey’s style is easy-listening background music, and her repertoire is made up of a variety of show tunes, big band, classical, jazz, and pop. Presently, she performs mostly at private functions and as a substitute for resident musicians in hotels, restaurants and lounges.
